Have a Look at the First-Ever 2019 X7 SAV

When it comes to automotive luxury, BMW has never disappointed, and true to their reputation, they have recently introduced the brand-new X7, the latest from the Sports Activity Vehicle department. Two models will be made available, the xDrive 40i and the xDrive 50i, both of which feature three rows of seating to accommodate up to seven people in comfort. The X7 is meant to be the pinnacle of the SAV range and can be pre-ordered online for delivery from March 2019.

What to Expect?
The sheer amount of space is clearly evident when drivers step inside and see plenty of light due to the panoramic glass sunroof, electronically controlled. If it happens to be too sunny, then all passengers have access to their own sliding headliner shades as needed.

Driving Experience
The pilot can take full advantage of Driving Experience Control elements when behind the wheel, can regulate internal conditions using a four-zone climate control system, or modify the vehicle’s “ride” through different air suspension or off-road modes.

Engine Options
There are two engines for the 2019 BMW X7, with the top-level xDrive 50i fitted with a 4.4 L V8 engine and the xDrive 40i featuring an in-line, six-cylinder engine with 3 L capacity. Intelligent all-wheel drive allows the power to be transferred smoothly under all conditions, as delivered through an eight-speed transmission.

Interior Features

As if that wasn’t enough, there is an extensive list of optional equipment available to allow the new owner to fully personalize their new X7. For example, a cold weather package can be selected with a heated steering wheel and front seat armrests, while drivers can even choose to heat or cool the cup holders if they choose the premium package. Or the optional six-seat setup with all-electric Captain’s Chairs as shown in the image above.

Size and Sound
Perhaps one of the biggest talking points will be the engine configuration and signature V8 sound of the top-of-the-range model. The two powerful turbochargers have been placed in between the cylinder banks of this V8 engine, so the driver is sure to be impressed by the incredible pulling power available throughout the range.
